Waiting Game

Waiting for pictures from the factory and for funds to come in. 

If you lost your survey or never got it https://asian-mythical-creatures-enamel-pins-by-nina-bolen.backerkit.com/ or if you need to make any changes like address please do so by Friday the 15th. I'll be locking down surveys then & you won't be able to change them unless you contact me. 

Looks like I'm still waiting on 9 people to fill out their surveys and several of you with credit cards that didn't work. I read that some countries where having issues with Kickstarter so if that's the case just contact me & we can figure something out. Normally it's an expired number but it looks like all the credit cards that are not working are outside the US. 

Holiday shipping. I don't think I'll have the pins sadly in time for Christmas shipping, because the USPS and UPS are running way behind this time of year. Normal shipments that take 3 days are taking more like 8 or longer :( So looks like I'll be shipping after the 1st, also there is less of a chance of things getting lost if I wait too. If you needed or wanted the pin for a gift let me know & I can see if I can get it out in time.

That also means if you would like to add anything to your pledge you can now use PayPal to pay for extra items.

And if you need to make any changes to your survey please do so by the end of the week. I'll be "locking" them down and ordering pins at the end of the week ^_^ If after that you need to update your address or anything just let me know.

We are funded!! Thanks again everyone for a successful Kickstarter! 

What's next? Everyone will be getting their surveys this week. Please remember it will go to the email you use here on Kickstarter, because I am using BackerKit. You will not get a notification on Kickstarter. If you don't want to use BackerKit for any reason just message me here with your info.

If you don't get a BackerKit email by the end of the week let me know. Make sure to look in your spam folder too.  

It takes about 2 weeks for the funds to clear and about that long for the pins to be made. I'm sending you the surveys now so the pins can be made at the same time. So there won't be as much as a delay on shipping. 

Note about holiday shipping: While I hope to get the pins to everyone before the holidays I can make no promises as the mail runs extra slow this time of year. If you are international please keep this in mind too as everything is way slower than normal. If you don't mind your pins or other items being mailed after Christmas please let me know. 

BackerKit questions. Because I'm offering the Asian Dragon Pin in hard or soft enamel you will be asked this during your survey. If say you picked a pair of pins as a reward and don't pick the Asian Dragon, you will still be asked hard or soft enamel (sorry there was not other way of doing this) simply pick N/A meaning you don't have an Asian Dragon and it does not apply. So fare this is the only pin available in either finish. Sorry the past pins are available in soft enamel only right now.

30 Hours to go!!

Only 30 hours to go and we're now supper close to the Kirin stretch goal!! Only $167 away!! I hope we can get it in the last 30 hours! 

What happens next? 

Well normally surveys go out 2 weeks after the Kickstarter ends (once the funds all clear) But I'll be sending surveys out early so I have an idea of the number of pins to order. That way the factory can start on them and I can hopefully have them in your hands before Christmas! 

Production time on the pins is about 10 to 14 days so they should be ready to ship to me about the same time the funds clear. 

With the Asian Dragon this time you'll get to choose in your survey hard enamel or soft enamel. 

What's the difference? 

Hard enamel is polished flat (more people seam to prefer this style) while soft enamel has raised areas, like how my last 3 pins where done. I prefer this style but lots of people like hard enamel so I'm doing both! 

Normally hard enamel pins cost more but for Kickstarter they are the same cost. The hard enamel pins if ordered off my website or Etsy store in the future however will cost more. So Kickstarter backers are getting a discount!
